Seven years of teaching experience at International Hope School Bangladesh, and a Master’s in Early Childhood Development, taught me that the early years shape everything that follows.
At Shining Rays, we blend two philosophies — Reggio Emilia and Australia’s EYLF. Reggio Emilia sees children as capable and curious, building knowledge through exploring and questioning. EYLF adds a focus on Belonging, Being, and Becoming, helping children feel confident enough to truly engage.
Our classrooms are designed to spark that curiosity — through art, play, stories, and conversation. My mission is simple: that every child at Shining Rays feels safe, valued, and free to be themselves.
Our educators follow an emerging process. They observe children during play, identify interests and developmental needs, plan meaningful experiences, guide children with intention, and reflect on how learning can be extended.
Learning is documented through observations, photographs, learning stories, and individual portfolios. This helps us understand each child’s progress and communicate their journey with families.

We welcome children from 6 months for daycare and 18 months for preschool, with programs designed for children up to 10 years old.
Yes. Our spaces are child-proofed, clean, secure, and carefully maintained so children can learn and play comfortably.
We use Storypark, a globally recognised platform, to share regular updates and learning documentation. For anything urgent, we contact parents or guardians directly.
Please submit the completed admission form, your child’s Birth Certificate, Vaccination Card, passport-size photograph, and the required parent/guardian photographs
